Born from Experience

My career has been spent in the world of high-end image production for fashion and print. For over 20 years, I’ve lived by a simple rule: color should be perfect. In print, getting color right from the very beginning is a non-negotiable part of the process, and the methods to achieve it are well-established.However, I noticed that in most photography, this rule doesn't always apply. The common approach is often "fix it later," relying on post-production and editing to correct the image.Driven by a growing interest in sustainability and the circular economy, I started looking closer at the second-hand industry. I saw this incredible movement being held back by an old mindset or expensive workflows. Many businesses, knowing that speed-to-market is critical, skip quality checks on color and consistency altogether. They get caught in a constant trade-off between quality and speed, because every minute spent editing is a minute the product isn't for sale.All photo studios, regardless of size, follow the same fundamental process steps; it's only the ambition, budget, and complexity of the tools that change. The core logic is very much the same.So, the idea for 2ndShoot was born from this insight. I wanted to take the proven, core logic of a professional studio and distill it into a simple app that anyone could use. My "why" is to eliminate that impossible trade-off, giving second-hand businesses a way to achieve both speed and quality, and altogether, build the trust needed for more consumers to choose second-hand.

Because 2ndShoot is a business-to-business (B2B) application, we collect information related to your company and its designated users.Business Account Information: To create and manage your account, we store your company name, contact person's name, email address, and physical address. This information is necessary for account management, billing, and service communication.Images: When you use the app, your final images are uploaded to our secure backend (hosted on Google Cloud Platform). These images remain the sole property of your company.3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for specific and limited purposes:Service Delivery: We use your account information to provide the Service. We temporarily store your images on our servers only as long as necessary to automatically push them to your designated backend or SFTP server, completing your workflow. Images are scheduled for deletion from our systems after 30 days.Evaluation and Improvement: We reserve the right to use images to evaluate and enhance our image processing and AI models. This helps us improve the app's accuracy and performance, leading to a better service for all our partners. Where possible, this is done using anonymized or aggregated data.Communication: We use your contact information to communicate with you about your account, service updates, and any technical issues.4. The Security of On-Device Processing
A key feature of the 2ndShoot app is that all core image processing and analysis is performed locally on your iOS device. This means raw image data is not sent to our servers for processing. This modern approach provides a significant security advantage, faster performance, and eliminates our need to handle your sensitive, unprocessed data.5. Data Security & GDPR Compliance
We are committed to protecting your information. Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services like Firebase, and we use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.As a company based in Sweden, we fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In our relationship, your company is the Data Controller of the images, and Stoft Works AB is the Data Processor.6. Your Rights

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 2ndShoot iOS application and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Stoft Works AB ("we," "us," or "our").By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of your company or other legal entity ("you" or "Customer").1. The Service
2ndShoot is a business-to-business (B2B) software application that provides a complete workflow for product photography. The Service allows you to capture, process, and deliver finished image assets ("Images") for commercial use. All core image processing is performed locally on your iOS device.We are continuously developing the Service and reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.2. Accounts & Subscriptions
a. Account Creation: Access to the Service requires an account to be created for you by Stoft Works AB. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.b. Pilot and Founder's Program:
The Service may be offered as part of a pilot program or a special "Founder's Plan." We reserve the right to select partners for these programs and to offer special pricing and terms.c. Subscriptions & Fees:
The Service is billed on a subscription basis per license.i. Fees:
Subscription fees are based on the current pricing displayed on the 2ndShoot website or as otherwise agreed upon in writing. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.ii. Free Trial:
We may offer a free trial period, as specified on our website. You will not be billed until the trial period is over.iii. Promotional and Founder's Plan Terms:
Stoft Works AB may offer special promotional plans, such as the "Founder's Plan." The discounted price for such plans (the "Promotional Price") is guaranteed only for the lifetime of your continuous, active subscription. If your subscription is cancelled by you, or if it is terminated by us due to a failed payment (non-payment), you will permanently forfeit the Promotional Price and any associated "Founder" status. Should you choose to re-subscribe at a later date, you will be subject to the standard subscription fees in effect at that time.3. Intellectual Property Rights
a. Ownership of the Service: Stoft Works AB retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the application, website, and all underlying technology and intellectual property.b. Ownership of Your Images: You retain full ownership of all Images you create using the Service. We claim no ownership rights over your content.4. License and Use of Data

License to Use the Service: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms and for the duration of your active subscription.b. Our Right to Use Your Images for Improvement: To help us evaluate and improve our image processing technology and AI models, you grant Stoft Works AB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Images you upload. This is solely for the purpose of improving the Service. This usage will be anonymized or aggregated where possible.5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree not to:Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the app.Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.Resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to any third party.Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.6. Termination
You may terminate your subscription at any time by providing written notice to us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you are in breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.
